In-person visits to Corpus Christi

At Corpus Christi, we are very pleased to be able to welcome visitors to the College! Visits to the College are prioritised for state schools within our link region (Manchester, Oldham, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford), but please do get in touch to check availability. We welcome visits from school students in Years 9 to 13 in groups of up to 25 (including teachers) per day. Our Outreach Team hosts each visit, which usually includes discussions about higher education and Oxford, a tour of the College, an academic taster session, and lunch in our historic dining hall.

School groups also get to quiz our undergraduate Subject Ambassadors about student life here. The Outreach Officer can also help you to combine a visit to Corpus with a tour of another college.

School online talks at Corpus Christi

If your school or year group are unable to visit us in person, why not request an online talk? Since 2020, Corpus Christi has been successfully adapting to the virtual world induced by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Outreach and Admissions Team have been successfully running online talks for school groups based in Greater Manchester. Online talks are a great way for students to learn about Higher Education and gain an insight into life at Oxford. Visits are conducted over Microsoft Teams and last around 45 minutes, although they can be longer if you wish. Each talk is tailored to students' ages. A standard introductory talk consists of a presentation about Higher Education and the University of Oxford. We can also cover study skills, run subject taster sessions, and provide workshops dedicated to specific stages of the Oxbridge application process, such as personal statements. It is possible to book multiple sessions in order to cover the content that your students are interested in.

To book an online talk, please email the Outreach team
