An Oxford College at War, written by Harriet Patrick, Corpus Assistant Archivist, is based on the moving accounts contained in the College’s Roll of Honour of those who fell in the Great War. Written as part of College commemorations of the centenary of the Armistice, the book explores the effect on Corpus life from 1914 to 1918: from the President and Fellows to the students and staff, as well as the buildings. It also considers how the war affected other Oxford colleges and their interaction with the University.
